A history to be proud of

Polar Systems was established by Peter Gamble, a design engineer with a passion for developing new processing systems, in 1986. The inaugural design was the world’s first fully automated whelk processing line, commissioned for a local King’s Lynn seafood processing company.

Since then the company has grown to a workforce of over 70 people, including designers, project engineers, control and automation electrical engineers, machine centre programmers, CNC Profiling Programmers, fabrication and machine shop engineers and on-site installation teams. Polar operates from a 85,000 square foot, state of the art manufacturing facility.

"We're extremely proud of the problem-solving capabilities of our expert design engineers and our team's skills in building specialist processing equipment. We work hard to enhance and create automated processes, bringing long-term and long-lasting benefits to our customers."
